Professional Standards

Although tuition is an un-regulated industry, we pride ourselves on delivering the highest level of professionalism and trust to the clients we work with.  As such, we adhere to all of the standards detailed below.

1.  Enhanced DBS

I have an enhanced DBS which is checked daily by both Qualified Tutor and The Tutors' Association.  This can be checked at any time by members of the public by clicking here.

2.  Members of the Tutors' Association

I am a corporate members of the Tutors' association (TTA).  TTA is the non-profit professional membership body for the tuition industry.  A member of TTA has to have passed a DBS check (no older than 12 months). They have to sign up to a Code of Practice. They also have to provide references.

3.  Qualified Tutor Certified

I am a certified member of Qualified Tutor and have passed their 5 point checklist.  My directory listing can be checked by clicking here.

4.  Safeguarding and Prevent certification

Myself, along with any tutors I work with, complete annual safeguarding and prevent training.

5.  Reviews

For many clients, one of the best indicators of quality is reviews and recommendations from past clients.  My reviews can be viewed here.

6.  Fully Insured

I hold both public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance to appropriate cover levels.
